Parents are welcome to support students during the process, but the application should reflect the student’s voice.

Our Process

What to Expect

You can expect a process grounded in care and fairness.

Applications are reviewed thoughtfully by a community-based committee.
Awards are based on a combination of need, goals, and available funds.
All applicants will be notified of decisions by [insert notification date].
Scholarship recipients will be invited to a community celebration and award presentation.

Lopez Island School District students and graduates. This includes Decatur and Center Islands.
Those pursuing college, trade school, certificates, or continuing education
Students at any stage of their educational journey
